Jez Cajiao (he/him): Subsidiary rights, negotiating power, and knowing the worth of your IP.

Jez Cajiao released his first book in 2020 and is now a 7-figure author, with over 20 books in LitRPG, including the UnderVerse, Arise, Artem and Rise of Mankind series. He has an extensive audio catalogue and has licensed his work to Podium, and Tantor, as well as writing standalone works for online companies. While the vast majority of those works are released in English only, he also has German and Russian translations out currently, both through other publishers and direct. He is one of the Directors of The Legion Publishers, set up to provide a range of resources to authors and access to mentorship and advocacy from industry experts, without sacrificing fair compensation. Becca Syme (she/her): Sustainable Strategies to suit your Author Archetype

Becca Syme (MATL) is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and has been coaching success alignment for more than a decade. She is the author of the Quitbooks for Writers series and the popular Write Better-Faster course. She also writes mystery novels in her spare time and lives on one of the thousand lakes in Minnesota. Michael Evans (he/him): how authors can leverage subscriptions to build a fandom and operate independently from external retailers.

Michael Evans is a sci-fi thriller author of a dozen novels and a senior at Harvard. He has written two nonfiction books for authors and is the co-founder and CEO of Ream, the subscription platform by fiction authors for fiction authors that helps authors make over half a million dollars per year in subscription revenue months after launching. He co-hosts the Subscriptions for Authors Podcast, Subscriptions for Authors Facebook Group, and loves community-building, technology, and storytelling.
